Gainful Employment

Medical Professional Institute (MPI) (OPEID – 037633) is a private for profit post-secondary institution that promotes student academics and offers certificate programs that “lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation”.  In accordance with the U.S. Department of Education’s new regulations on Program Integrity: Gainful Employment Reporting and Disclosures, MPI is disclosing the following information about our programs to prospective students.  Each program that is Title IV eligible is listed separately below.

The Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) codes provide an accurate tracking, assessment, and reporting of fields of study and program completions activity, which are specifically utilized by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).  MPI uses the CIP codes to identify the programs offered and provides the statistical data for each program.  This information is entered into the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) surveys that are completed annually.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s O*Net web site is www.onetonline.org.  This website contains detailed occupation information and statistics to assist in the assessment of an occupation for a student or worker looking to enter a specific occupation.  The Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes are published on the O*Net web site and provide vital information about the employment opportunities and outlook for the programs offered by MPI.

The data included for tuition and fees, on-time graduation rates, and job placement rates are from the 2010 – 2011 award year (July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011).  Please see the Tuition and Fees page of our website for more up-to-date tuition and fees information as this information has changed.
