Where Can I Get a Copy Of My Transcript?

A copy of your transcript can be obtained by filling out a Document Request Form.  To obtain a form, please contact Ashley Tortora at 781-397-6822 x201 or atortora@mpi.edu.  Completed forms should be returned to Ashley Tortora.  The first official transcript is free. All other copies thereafter will cost $3.

How Do I Take the Certification Exam for Allied Health Disciplines? 

There are several different Allied Health exams that can be taken once a student completes their training at MPI.  All exam types will require a school code that can be obtained from Providencia Colon.  The exam companies will inform you of your testing date and location after you complete the application and pay your fee.  If you need any clarification or guidance, you are encouraged to contact Providencia Colon at PColon@mpi.edu.

Registered Phlebotomy Technician (RPT) exam through American Medical Technologists (AMT):

This certification is for students that have completed their Phlebotomy training.

The first step is to complete the RPT application. You can obtain one from www.americanmedtech.org

The second step is to obtain your official transcripts from MPI.

The third step is send in your application, transcripts and payment of $100 to the address on the application

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam through American Association of Medical Assistants AAMA):

This certification is for students that have completed their Medical Assisting training.

The first step is to make yourself an AMT account on their website (americanmedtech.org).

You will then apply online to take the exam by clicking the “Apply Online” tab.  The website will take you through all the questions necessary to apply.  You will also pay the $100 fee by credit card.  You will also have the option to purchase study material and/or practice exams.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam through the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants:

This certification is another option for students that have completed their Medical Assistant training.  This test should be taken within twelve months of your graduation date.

A handbook for this exam can be obtained by contacting Providencia Colon.

The first step is to complete the application form found in the handbook.  The next step is to mail in your application and fee of $125.

How Can I Get Descriptions of the Courses I Took at MPI? 

To obtain a copy of your course descriptions, please refer to the original Student Catalog you were given at enrollment.  If you need an additional copy, please request one from Angela Young at admissions@mpi.edu.
