What are the Admissions Requirements for MPI’s Programs? 

MPI is proud to offer educational opportunities for individuals of diverse backgrounds and experience levels who meet our admissions criteria.  Our admissions requirements vary by program.  For more information on the admissions requirements of a specific program, please click here.

Does MPI take Transfer Credits? 

MPI does accept transfer credits.  Courses taken at another institution must be the equivalent of the course(s) offered at MPI and must have been taken at a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Do I need a High School Diploma to Attend MPI? 

Yes, applicants must have either a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) to attend MPI.

Does MPI Require a CORI Check as Part of the Application Process? 

MPI doesn’t run a CORI on applicants, but does on accepted students prior to attending clinical. Clinical sites are very strict about what they will accept to attend clinical.  Accepted students will be unable to attend clinical if they have any “open” cases on their CORI report. Please consult with the specific agency to find out more about the requirements for licensure or contact our Admissions office for more information.

The Admissions Process for the Program I Want Requires CPR/First Aid Certification…Where Can I Get That? 

MPI offers CPR and First Aid certification classes for applicants who do not have these certifications. Our First Aid certification class is $30 and our CPR certification class is $40.  If you need to get certification in either of these areas, please contact one of our admissions counselors for details on registering for a class.

Is Financial Aid Available?

Does MPI Offer Payment Plans? 

Yes, MPI offers payment plans on an individual basis. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.

Is MPI Accredited?

MPI is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).  As a result, MPI can offer federal financial aid to those that qualify and our graduates are able to site for national certification exams.
